I love somatic self-awareness methods! Why? Because the body doesn’t lie, energy can’t be fooled, and the mind can’t resist the impact of bodily practices. These practices bypass the mind, reaching their goal and revealing something from our deeper layers.
I was fascinated by the body and its complex functions even as a young person. I began early on with energy work, martial arts, and a little later, self-awareness practices. I encountered contact improvisation quite early but practiced it mostly on occasion, just for fun. I’ve known Gregory Chevalier for a long time from the Hungarian “contact dance scene.” So I was fortunate to be present at the very first Moving Man retreat that he held with Árpád Kántor in the Valley of Three Treasures in the summer of 2020. This methodology spoke to something deep inside me, and since then, I’ve been an enthusiastic advocate for it. My favorite practices are the Dyads and Psycho Box.
Currently, I work as a physical therapist, soft tissue manual therapist, Qigong instructor, and intuitive healer, helping those who come to me. I’m passionate about supporting and developing individuals with ADHD and other neurodivergent nervous systems.
