Botond Sarkadi-Nagy

My journey into movement and personal transformation began in an unexpected place: the structured world of engineering. By day, I’m an engineer and digitization process expert in the automotive industry, working to streamline complex systems. Yet, alongside this technical path, a powerful undercurrent of movement has shaped my life and purpose.

From a young age, I engaged in various martial arts, cultivating physical discipline and a respect for the body's potential. This connection deepened with my experiences in movement and dance therapy as a participant. In 2020, shortly after the first Covid lockdown, I discovered the International Moving Man Institute. At 35, I was hesitant about stepping out of my comfort zone, especially in sharing my story and emotions through movement with other men from diverse backgrounds. But, after the initial shock, it became clear that connecting through movement and somatic exercises was something I had been seeking.

These experiences taught me that I was not alone in my challenges, and the support I received from my peers transformed my life. Recognizing how movement mirrors the interconnectedness of systems, I realized the importance of integrating body and mind—where connection through movement becomes essential.

Today, as a certified facilitator with the Moving Man Institute, I’m passionate about helping others explore new and meaningful ways to connect with themselves and others. Guided by the foundational work of Gregory Chevalier and Árpád Kántor, I’m here to help you discover fresh pathways to understanding your own body, intuition, and connections to others through movement and touch.
