The Moving Man – 4 days retreat in Greece

4 Honest Questions

  • Do you feel worthy simply for who you are—not for what you do or achieve?

  • Do you feel completely safe with other men? And with yourself?

  • Do you give your inner experience the space it deserves (feelings, emotions, intuition…)?

  • Do you feel free to take care of yourself?

If you have not yet received the gift of feeling whole just as you are—without needing to prove anything to anyone, of truly listening to yourself, and of creating meaningful connections without fear of depending on others or receiving help—then this retreat is for you.

Our invitation

Kantor Arpad 1

This retreat supports men on a journey of transforming their relationship with their bodies, themselves, and other men.

The container we create together is built around three dimensions of movement:

  • Physical movement

  • Emotional movement

  • Relational movement

We invite you to begin exactly where you are. There is nothing to change, nothing to fix, and nothing to prove.

Touche et sois touché.
Accueille et sois Accueilli
Bouge et sois mu par plus grand.

What makes Moving Man unique

  • Movement as the central language: here, the body does not merely illustrate the work—it is the source of it.

  • No masculine ideal to achieve: no role to play, no model to become.

  • Guidance that emerges from the group: supported by a clear framework and experienced facilitators.

  • A lived experience, not a concept: transformation through direct, relational, and embodied experience.

  • An embodied brotherhood: one that develops naturally, without pressure or expectation.

the retreat

This four-day retreat is designed for men who feel called to step away from the demands of everyday life and return to what is essential: the body, presence, and authentic connection.

The practices offered explore themes that are often rarely addressed among men, including:
the relationship with one’s father and male role models, male intimacy, vulnerability and grounded strength, the relationship with the body and emotions, violence and personal power, as well as the place of the inner feminine and the feminine in the world.

The purpose of this retreat is neither to conform to an external ideal nor to define what a “real man” should be.
Rather, it is about creating the conditions for your own authentic masculinity to emerge and take shape, at your own pace.

Our work draws on a rich range of somatic and relational practices, including:
Contact Improvisation, Somatic Integrative Psychotherapy, the Focusing-oriented approach, Psychoboxing, rituals, wilderness rites of passge and movement-based practices.

The framework is both supportive and challenging, while remaining deeply respectful, allowing each participant to explore what is alive and meaningful for him—with the support of the group.

The primary language of the retreat is French. One of the facilitators will lead sessions in English, with interpretation provided by our assistants. You are warmly welcome to join, explore the themes mentioned above, find a space that supports your personal process, connect with a supportive group of men, and work with the challenges, questions, and fears that may arise in relation to your masculinity.
